Where Foodie's tone, voice, and language(s) get configured. Brand-feel stuff. See §2.5 for the what to choose discussion; this page is the where to click.
Path
Configuration → AI Host — in the left sidebar.
If you manage multiple venues, pick the right one in the Venue dropdown at the top of the sidebar before editing.
Personality
Response style
Five tone cards. Pick one:
Casual — relaxed, conversational.
Friendly — warm, light professional.
Balanced (default) — professional yet personable.
Formal — polished, reserved.
Very formal — highly ceremonial.
Language mode
Dropdown (only visible if multi-language is enabled on your account):
English only (default)
English + Spanish — single bilingual agent that switches mid-call.
English + French — two agents that hand the call to each other based on detected language.
Don't see the dropdown? Multi-language is off on your account. Ask us to flip it on.
Opening line
The first thing every caller hears. Default is recording-disclosed. Customize freely. Keep it short — long openings make guests impatient.
Example: "Thank you for calling The Carbon Bar, Toronto's home for slow-smoked everything. How may I help you today?"
Voice
Browsing the library
A paginated table of voices, with name, accent, gender, age. Use the filter box to narrow by keyword.
Previewing a voice
Click the play button. Adjust volume with the speaker icon. Three-dot menu has download and playback speed.
Selecting a voice
Click the radio button in the Select column. The current voice shows a green checkmark at the top.
Saving — the two-step
Two clicks, every time.
1. Click Save Changes (purple button, bottom right). Saves your edits.
2. Scroll to the top, click Update Agent in the blue "Publish Agent" banner. Pushes everything live.
If you skip step 2, your guests hear the old voice. See dedicated page → Going live: Save vs Update Agent.
