When Foodie hands a call to a real person. The mechanics are simple; the configuration is in Live transfers.
What Foodie does
Detects a transfer trigger:
Guest explicitly asks for a person.
Topic outside Foodie's allowed playbooks.
Modification with deposit/hold attached.
Configured always-transfer for specific request types.
Tells the guest she's connecting them.
Dials your transfer number.
If picked up within ~6 rings: warm hand-off; Foodie introduces and drops out.
If not picked up: Foodie tells the guest your team is unavailable and offers to take a message.
Card type in the Inbox
Card "Handoff."
Logs the attempted transfer.
Indicates whether the human picked up or it fell back to a message.
Reply by text from inside the app if you want to follow up with the guest.

Notification routing (Notifications) — anyone who handles fallback messages should subscribe to Handoff
Pickup rate
Your Analytics dashboard's Transfer Pickup Rate shows how often a transfer reaches a human. Below 50% is a sign your transfer number isn't being picked up reliably.
