Field-by-field reference for every setting in the Tablevoice app. The same content also lives in our Help Center, where it powers in-app search and Fin (our help-bot). Use whichever surface you prefer.
How it's organized — the three buckets
We split your venue's configuration into three groups, in the order Foodie uses them on a call:
Restaurant knowledge — what your AI Host knows. Hours, menu, parking, accessibility, and so on. Foodie quotes this directly.
Agent behavior — how it sounds and acts. Voice, language, transfer rules, pronunciation guide.
Playbooks — how it handles each scenario. New reservation, cancellation, lost item, complaint, late arrival, etc.
The one trap to know
Editing a setting in the app does not change Foodie's behavior until you click Update Agent at the top of the AI Host page. Save Changes saves your edits; Update Agent pushes them live. Both clicks. Every time. We promise it'll feel obvious by week two.
When to read this section
During onboarding — skim Restaurant knowledge once so you know what Foodie can and can't answer.
In the first month — open whichever leaf matches the field you're editing.
Long-term — search the Help Center; the same articles are there.
